HPC SX compressors

HPC KAESER’s range of SX series compressors provide users with maximum availability and efficiency. Incorporating the world-renowned SIGMA profile, HPC SX compressors deliver compressed air using less power consumption than ever before. Featuring an eco-friendly design, HPC SX air compressors combine ease of use and maintenance, making for an exceptionally versatile compressed air system.

Part of our HPC compressor range, SX series air compressors boast significantly improved performance compared to other models on the market. KAESER engineers have implemented a combination of airend optimisation and minimisation of internal pressure losses. This provides HPC SX rotary screw compressors with a free air delivery increase of up to 14%.

In addition, all compressor types within the HPC SX range share a logical and user-friendly design. Designed to ensure the best possible access to all service points, the left-hand enclosure panel of HPC SX rotary screw compressors can be removed in a few simple steps. This allows for complete visibility of all the components within SX compressed air systems.

HPC SX rotary screw compressors boast quiet operation, thanks to the noise-cancelling compressor enclosures, ensuring a near-silent work environment. Along with inlet openings for separate airflow cooling, SX series compressors are remarkably compact, making them ideal for space-saving applications.

Unlike other compressors, the SX series is specifically designed with energy in mind. As energy accounts for the majority of costs during a compressor’s service life, HPC SX compressors feature refinements to the energy-saving SIGMA profile air-end. As a result, HPC SX compressors benefit from increased performance.

For additional energy efficiency, HPC SX air compressors combine SIGMA Control 2’s internal controller and KAESER’s unique cooling system.

HPC SX compressor range specifications

The two primary models in HPC’s SX range are the SX6 air compressor and the SX8 rotary screw compressor. While similar in some respects, the heavier HPC SX8 provides higher motor power, sound and working pressure levels when supplied as the complete FAD package.

Standard versions of SX series compressors can also be supplied upon request. Known as SX series “T” models, these models come equipped with integrated, thermally shielded refrigeration dryers. Additionally, they can also be provided as “AIRCENTER” models that include underslung air receivers for increased flexibility.
