Built into every one of their rotary screw compressors is the innovative SIGMA PROFILE; an energy-saving rotor profile that achieves power savings of up to 15 percent (compared with conventional screw airend rotor profiles) and ensures maximum energy efficiency.

All of our HPC compressor UK models feature the modular, user-friendly and highly flexible SIGMA CONTROL 2, which comprises a main control unit and separate input/output modules. Equipped with its own web server, SIGMA CONTROL 2 makes it possible to communicate with the compressor via Intranet / Internet. This makes it possible to view operating data, maintenance and alarm messages, with password protection, from any PC running a standard Internet browser.
Energy costs taken over the lifetime of an air compressor add up to many times that of the initial capital outlay, which make purchase price differences a false economy. However, energy-saving HPC rotary screw compressors are designed to significantly reduce compressed air costs. For example, reusable heat represents significant potential savings, since 100% of compressor energy is converted into heat.
Up to 96% of the energy used to produce compressed air is available for reuse. This can amount to huge annual financial savings. It also helps to considerably reduce CO2 emissions. The scale and scope of the savings depend on the size of the compressors and primary energy source (electricity, gas, fuel oil). Our small air SX to ASK HPC compressor range run on a range of IE3 energy saving motors up to 22 kW. All but one is equipped with HPC’s efficient and reliable V-belt drive system, which is characterised by an automatic tensioning device that ensures constant transmission efficiency and reduces maintenance costs (the SX series is equipped with a flat drive belt that requires no additional tensioning). HPC’s automatic belt tensioning device ensures high transmission efficiency from the motor to the airend, saving energy and ensuring excellent reliability.
For medium air users, we recommend the BSD to CSD compressor range. These versatile, reliable and highly efficient rotary screw compressors run off a range of super premium efficiency IE4 drive motors up to 90 kW. With an integrated refrigeration dryer module, these complete air systems provide a dependable supply of quality compressed air. Because the air compressor and refrigeration dryer are installed in separate cabinets, the dryer is protected from exposure to heat from the compressor package thereby enhancing reliability.
For large air use, our DSD to HSD compressor range is ideal. This range of rotary screw compressors, with 1:1 drive, offers exceptional performance and savings up to 500 kW. The motor and airend are joined by the coupling and its housing to form a compact and durable unit that is virtually maintenance-free. Plus, larger, low-speed airends offer greater efficiency and deliver more compressed air for the same drive power than smaller, high-speed units. Low speeds also mean less wear and lower maintenance costs.
