What the customer needed
When a family-owned British manufacturer of jam, marmalade, peanut butter and preserves saw their production demands increase they quickly recognised the need for a larger industrial air compressor, dryer and filters to maximise operational efficiency at their state-of-the-art factory.
With 150,000 jars of peanut butter rolling off their production line every day alone this manufacturer was heavily reliant on the smooth and efficient operation of machinery to maximise their output. As such they approached Glaston to secure first-class air preparation equipment that wouldn’t let them down.
What Glaston did
Glaston recommended the HPC KAESER BSD75 SFC variable speed compressor which we installed along with an ultra-high efficiency refrigerant dryer and high efficiency inline filtration. This versatile industrial air compressor pushes the boundaries of compressed air efficiency delivering more compressed air using less power. It also combines ease of use and simple maintenance with an environmentally responsible design.
This type of HPC KAESER compressor saves money in several ways. The compressor air ends are equipped with flow-optimised SIGMA PROFILE rotors which are controlled and monitored via the industrial PC-based SIGMA CONTROL 2 compressor controller. This enables free air delivery to be precisely matched to actual compressed air demand and ensures maximum energy efficiency. Super premium efficiency IE4 motors also boost energy efficiency even further.
What happened as a result
