We are proud and excited to let you know that Glaston Compressors has been acquired by Atlas Copco Ltd. Atlas Copco is the global market leader in compressed air solutions and has been present in the UK for over 100 years. Glaston will continue to operate as a stand-alone company within Atlas Copco Compressors UK under the Glaston name.
Whilst this decision was not taken lightly the opportunity to sell the Atlas Copco range of compressors was too good to turn down. Furthermore the infrastructure and support that they bring to the table is breathtaking.
It is very important to us to point out what is not changing:
- We will continue to hold a large stock of HPC/Kaeser spare parts – we believe this to be one of the biggest in the UK in both number of items and value.
- We will honour all service contracts and warranties
- You will still deal with the same employees and senior management whom you deal with today.
This acquisition brings only positive outcomes for all of us. As well as offering Atlas Copco air compressors we are also able to offer air blowers, industrial gas generators, vacuum pumps, process cooling solutions and related services all from the Atlas Copco stable. Atlas Copco invests a high amount in R&D and this has resulted in cutting-edge reliability, energy efficiency, lifetime cost of ownership and breadth of range which is second to none.
Moving forward Glaston staff will have the support of a large world-class team behind us, including vastly improved technical support, extensive product training and direct access to energy auditing tools which will allow us to take our customer service and our customers’ compressed air, blowers, vacuum and chilled water energy savings to the next level.
