Compressed air distribution system for Stackright

Glaston Compressor Services were approached by Stackright. They are an independent British manufacturer of storage and accommodation. Stackright manufacturers a range of premium facilities including secure toilets, offices and canteens. These enclosures and manufactured on-site at Skelmersdale in Lancashire.

Stackright have in-house facilities and skills to offer complete storage and accommodation facility design and manufacture. The senior management and design team have over 140-years of combined experience in the design and manufacture of storage and accommodation facilities.

What the customer needed

The Stackright factory spans over 90,000 square feet and features press sections, production lines, spraying and baking facilities, alongside fit-out lines. This enables Stackright to offer the full package.

Rick Southern, Director at Stackright, approached Glaston as they wanted to invest in a new compressed air distribution system for the manufacturing plant.

What Glaston did

Glsaton recommended the Transair modular aluminium ultra-high efficiency pipe system. The Transair modular aluminium pipe system components are reusable and interchangeable which enables easy layout modifications. Transair provides clean air quality with optimum flow rate performance, unlike steel or copper which degrades over time due to corrosion.

The Transair features quick connections that eliminates the need to thread, solder or glue pipe which offers savings on installation, maintenance and operating costs when compared to a traditional pipe system. Transair modular aluminium is available in sizes from 17mm to 150mm.

What happened as a result
